In the ‘Home’ tab, you will find all the topics that you have created with a result preview for each topic.

Topic Result Preview
The result preview gives you a general idea of how much noise the topic has made online and its relative sentiment. You will find the total number of mentions and total people talking about the topic. The engagement index gives you a general idea of the popularity of the topic. From the chart of sentiment analysis and sentiment score, you will know how people are reacting to the topic in general. Finally, you will find the trend of the mentions over the predefined period – look for spikes and troughs on the graph for insights.
Editing or Deleting a Topic
There are three actions you can take for an individual topic. Firstly, you may either edit or delete your search by clicking on the ‘Edit/Delete’ button. This will take you to another page where you can edit your search words, search periods, channel settings, etc. Or simply, just delete the topic.

Analysing a Topic
You may view the full analysis by clicking on the ‘Analysis’ button. In ‘Analysis’, you will find out:
- What exactly are people talking about
- When and where do they talk about it the most
- Who are the advocates of the topic
- The sentiment of the topic
Comparing a Topic
Finally, you may add or remove the topic from comparison. When you see a ‘plus sign’ icon next to the ‘Compare’ button, this topic is eligible for comparison. You will then find the small number indicator next to the ‘Comparison’ menu item on your left. That means the topic has been added to comparison. Click on the ‘Compare’ button with the ‘minus sign’ to remove the topic from comparison. You can add up to five topics for comparison.
